"Vicki is one of the most brilliant performers I have ever taught."
-David Craig, Author: On Singing Onstage; On Performing
"Her performing is so emotional, so powerful - she holds an audience in her hand and connects with them in a way that is unforgettable. Her gorgeous voice can also sing in any style, from opera and jazz to gospel and folk. An incredibly rare talent!"
-Suzanne DeYoung, Former nightclub owner, Los Angeles

Vicki started singing in public when she was 8 years old, and by the time she was 16, was making a living in nightclubs and doing local theater.
She traveled the United States with Marshall Grant Orchestras as a member of a vocal jazz quartet. The MG Orchestra played places from Palm Beach's famous Colony Hotel and the Memphis Cotton Festival to private parties for clients like the Ford family of Grosse Point, Michigan, and the Pulitzer family of Palm Beach, Florida. During this time, she also played nightclubs along the Florida Gold Coast, doing everything from folk and country to pop and jazz. She did studio work in South Florida, specializing in the Caribbean music forms of ska and reggae, as well as in pop and gospel styles.
She received a Bachelor's Degree in Theater from Florida State University, and after leaving, received her Actors Equity card from the Palm Beach Playhouse. She has played roles from Fiona in Brigadoon to Babe in Pajama Game.
Vicki moved to Atlanta in the 1980's, where she was in an innovative live and video comedy troupe. She then moved to Los Angeles in 1986, and sang in churches, nightclubs and convention centers there and in Las Vegas. While in Los Angeles, she was an advanced student of David Craig's, teacher of Bernadette Peters, Lena Horne and hundreds of well-known Broadway performers. He mentored her, encouraging her to continue to perform and also to begin to teach performance.
Though her focus shifted to conducting when she began graduate school at the University of Northern Colorado in 1992, she continued to sing, mostly in choirs - including the Robert Shaw Carnegie Hall Chorus, the UNC choirs and the Colorado Symphony Chorus which included appearances at the Aspen Music Festival.
Vicki continues to sing as a staff soloist at the Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, which has a congregation of over 5,000. And she performs as a soloist in Denver with the Jazz Partners. She also now teaches voice and performance in her private voice studio, coaches professional and semi-professional vocal groups and works as a vocal producer on recordings. She has also begun to move into opera conducting and has commissioned and directed musical theater and opera performances.
